-Galvanized silo adopts high quality steel, with corrosion resistance, long service life performance, and equipped with silo special sealing tape to ensure the sealing of the connection.
-The top of the silo bin provides greater strength and capacity for the silo and also prevents rainwater from entering the bin.
-The shape of the funnel at the bottom of the silo is designed to provide conditions for feed transportation.
-The silo side ladder is designed to prevent slip, which is reliable and easy to observe, install and maintain.
-The production of silo adopts advanced laser equipment and mold, so that the production of each component of the bin is more standard, more accurate size and more convenient installation.
-Combine the upper section of the silo into a circle.
-Assemble the 8th / 9th piece of the upper cone along the outer edge of the upper segment to form a cone. When the upper cone piece is installed, the middle of the upper cone is aligned with the junction of the upper section of the middle body.
-Put the cone upside down for further installation.
-Install the feed outlet outside the upper cone.
-Install the middle section of the body. The middle section is installed in the upper section, a screw hole in the middle of each piece of the middle section is aligned with the interface between the two pieces of the upper section, (easy to install, beautiful, prevent the interface are in a line, increase its stability) in turn the section is installed.
-Install the lower section of the body. The lower section is installed in the middle of the section.A screw hole in the middle of each piece of the lower section is aligned with the interface between the two pieces of the middle section, (easy to install, beautiful, prevent the interface are in a line, increase its stability) in turn the next section is installed.
-Install the lower cone inside the lower section of the middle body. When installing the last piece, install the feeding port inside the lower cone first.
- Assemble the outlet inside the lower cone.
-Evenly divide the silo props according to the screw hole distance and tighten vertically with screws.
-Installation method of props: 1. Install 2 pcs diagonal supports into X shape; 2. Install the top of the X type diagonal brace on the screw hole of the supporting leg; 3. One end of the parallel support is installed at the 16th hole of the supporting leg, and the other end is installed at the outlet to make the six supports more firm.
-Install the lower part of the support and fasten it to the ground with expansion screws.
-Install the lower section of the climbing ladder on one of the supporting legs and secure it to the supporting legs with 8 pcc 8*50 screws (drill holes in appropriate positions and tighten).
-Install the narrow end of the ladder upward at the inlet, and install the wide end downward on the top of the climbing ladder, and connect it with a connector.
-Handrail installation method: Install the handrail at the second screw on the ladder at an angle of 45 degrees upward, and install it between the upper and lower ladders at an angle of 100 degrees downward.
-Fix the connector on the connection screw hole of the upper cover with 2 pcs 8*50 screws, using sealant.
-If you have a metal silo, look for bolted joints near the hopper’s top, waviness along the sheet edges, bolt hole elongation, cracks between bolt holes, outward bulging of the cone shell near the top and damage at vertical seams.
-Determine minimum wall thicknesses required for structural integrity and compare these to your silo’s actual wall thickness.
-Look for and repair or replace damaged or loose liners.
-Remove material buildup that could trap moisture on the outdoor silos’ exterior.
-Check for warning signs, air blowing in or out of vents, wear patterns, vibration or spillage.
-Inspect and maintain mechanical equipment including gates, feeders and dischargers. (When repairing or replacing any mechanical component, remember that seemingly innocuous changes can have significant effects)
